Listen to Croatia brings Croatian literature to listeners who will never read it in the original: a curated selection in English translation, produced in our Zagreb studio with original music and sound design.
The list runs from twentieth-century titan Miroslav Krleža to the crime novels of Jurica Pavičić, Olja Savičević Ivančević's Farewell, Cowboy, Robert Perišić's A Cat at the End of the World, Magdalena Blažević's In Late Summer — shortlisted for the 2026 Dublin Literary Award — and the poetry of Monika Herceg.
It is also a tourism project: QR codes at destinations along the Croatian coast, under the line "Your Croatian Vacation. With a Plot Twist."
