Über den DDV: Mit knapp 800 Mitgliedern bildet der Verband eines der größten aktiven und solidarischen berufsspezifischen Netzwerke in der deutschen Filmbranche und vertritt als Verband die Interessen der Drehbuchautor*innen in allen Fragen der Film- und Medienpolitik, der Förderung, des Urheberrechts sowie der Verhandlung von Gemeinsamen Vergütungsregeln mit Sendern, Streamingdiensten und Produktionsfirmen. Der DDV setzt sich für mehr Sichtbarkeit und Wertschätzung der Autor*innen sowie für mehr Einfluss auf die Verwirklichung der erzählerischen Visionen auch im Herstellungsprozess ein, genauso wie für den Schutz menschlicher Werkschöpfung in Zeiten von KI. Ohne Drehbuch kein Film und keine Serie.
About the DDV: With nearly 800 members, the association forms one of the largest active and supportive profession-specific networks in the German film industry and, as an association, represents the interests of screenwriters in all matters relating to film and media policy, funding, copyright, and the negotiation of collective remuneration agreements with broadcasters, streaming services and production companies. The DDV campaigns for greater visibility and recognition for screenwriters, as well as for greater influence over the realisation of their narrative visions, including during the production process and for the protection of human creative work in the age of AI. Without a screenplay, there can be no film or TV series.
