Libraries of Emotions is a search engine in 10 languages that recommends books by the emotions they carry, powered by the Key Emotion Indicator (KEI), a robust methodology drawn from cognitive neuroscience. The tool is deliberately hybrid: AI where it amplifies the work and the metadata reach, human expertise where precision matters. 

Built within LOE for Good, cofunded by the European Union under Creative Europe by a consortium of 9 partners across 6 countries in Europe and Tunisia, it is tested in the field by partner public libraries. Publishers, booksellers and librarians can use it to make their catalogues findable by emotional impact and to foster discoverability; readers use it to find the book they really need.
