A presentation of the German translation of a poetry collection by Yaryna Chornohuz – a poet, soldier and one of the important voices in contemporary Ukrainian literature. Written on the front lines, her poems speak of the loss of fellow soldiers and of living in the immediate reality of war, while also conveying the hope that underpins Ukrainian resistance. The collection was translated by Kseniya Fuchs and published by Friedrich Mauke Verlag.
