This year’s Aficionado Award recipient will be announced in time for this year’s Frankfurter Buchmesse 2026 and the award ceremony will take place on Thursday, October 8 at 11 am. Moderated by Erin Cox, publisher of Publishing Perspectives.

The Aficionado Award is the first international award to promote individuals, organisations and initiatives that are making a lasting difference in the publishing industry. It is awarded by an international publishing community and presented at Frankfurter Buchmesse. The award is organised in cooperation with, and with the financial support of, Frankfurter Buchmesse and the Salone del Libro di Torino.
