STORYPIC: picture cards that turn children aged 8–12 into storytellers – from cards to stories to books. We are looking for licensing partners.
YSTORY (Busan, Korea, founded 2012) creates story-play tools and trains teachers to use stories in the classroom.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Pick cards – children draw picture cards. The cards carry no text, so they work in any language.
2. Tell a story – they link the cards with a simple story structure, the Five-Piece Story.
3. Make a book – they write the story down and turn it into a small book of their own.
PROVEN IN KOREA
• Bought by 3,843 Korean schools (32.4% of primary, middle and high schools)
• 85,000 card sets sold; 4.8 million people have played
• Featured in an approved middle-school textbook ("Creating Stories")
• KOCCA Game of the Month (Good Game category)
• Classroom research on story writing, reading and attention
WHAT WE OFFER – LICENSING FIRST
1. A licensed STORYPIC edition: publish the cards and activities in your language, under your brand or co-branded.
2. A story-writing unit: our student workbook "Let's Play with Stories!" and book-making activities, licensed for your market.
3. YSTORY Method teacher training: a 1-day teacher workshop (7 hours) and a 3-day Certified Instructor course (22 hours). Registered private qualification in Korea (Reg. No. 2015-005071); 1,555 certified instructors and 4,292 courses delivered.
