Větrné mlýny is an independent Czech publishing house founded in 1995, with a catalogue of more than 700 titles. We publish contemporary Czech and translated literature and organize international literary festivals. At the 2026 Frankfurt Book Fair, we are presenting Minout Prahu / Jenseits von Prag, an anthology of contemporary German-language writing that explores Czechia and Czech-German connections beyond familiar images of Prague. We welcome conversations about translation rights, co-editions and international literary collaborations.
