Born in La Spezia, Italy, she moved to Mexico City at the age of thirteen. Her dual cultural identity has profoundly shaped her literary work, which explores themes of memory, identity, displacement, and the complex relationship between personal lives and historical events.Trained as an architect, she devoted herself to literature in 2002. Since then, she has published seven books, including four novels: Los Inválidos, Heridas de agua, Donde termina el mar, and Fuego que no muere, a historical novel inspired by the life of Italian photographer and revolutionary Tina Modotti.Her work spans literary fiction, historical fiction, travel writing, and literary nonfiction. Her books have been translated into English and Italian, and Fuego que no muere is currently under option for a feature film adaptation.For over a decade, she has contributed to ADN Noticias, a Mexican national television news network, as a literary journalist and book reviewer, promoting literature and fostering dialogue between books and readers. She has also served as a jury member for several prestigious literary awards.Her writing brings together her Italian roots and Mexican experience, weaving history, memory, and personal narratives into stories that transcend geographical and cultural boundaries.
