Julia Efremenkova is a Russian-language writer based in Potsdam, Germany. She is presenting her new book "No Days Off for Bottle Collectors" (Polyandria NoAge, 2026), a collection of short stories about disruptions in familiar reality, which reveal our own state of estrangement, loneliness, and the absurdity of everyday life.

The stories begin where the ordinary world suddenly slips out of place — and invite us to take another look at our own life from a fresh perspective.
