The second part of our popular training course, the Editorial School for Journal Editors, will take place in October 2026. Jo Wixon will kick off the Autumn series with her module Publishing Impact, developing a journal. Jo is Director, Portfolio Strategy at Wiley, Vice-Chair ALPSP Membership & Marketing Committee, and HESI SDG Publishers Compact Fellow.
The other sessions will be led by three other senior EASE members:

Publishing Quality - dealing with authors - Jason Roberts
Open Science and Journal policies - Jadranka Stojanovski
The format of the course is a lecture, followed by a moderated breakout session in which small groups consider two case studies, and then a final session to feedback the discussions from the breakout groups and answer further questions from delegates.
You may register for the full course or book individual modules. There are discounts for EASE members and those in LMICs.
Each module is recorded and made available to participants together with handbooks for easy reference.
