Beschreibung
Literary translation is coming under increasing pressure from AI. This is why there is an ever-greater need for sharing information and ideas on how to make literary translation more visible and convey its importance. In what ways can translation be presented so that it appeals to a broad audience? What innovative formats are required? And how can awareness of the indispensable work of translators be raised? These questions will be discussed by Catherine Schlumberger, managing director of the Solothurner Literaturtage festival, Jörn Cambreleng, director of ATLAS (Association pour la promotion de la traduction littéraire), and Seid Serdarević, editor-in-chief of the Croatian publishing house Fraktura, in conversation with Sula Textor.
Panel discussion in English
