Keynote speaker: Tomáš Hausner, International Project Coordinator, Gallery of West Bohemia in Pilsen.

On the occasion of the Czech Republic’s role as Guest of Honour at the Frankfurt Buchmesse 2026, the team from the Gallery of West Bohemia are making the journey from Pilsen to present their first publication with Kulturalis, Czech Interwar Modern: 50 Masterpieces from the Collections of the Gallery of West Bohemia in Pilsen. This is the Gallery’s fifth collaboration with a UK publishing house and its first with Kulturalis, who are proud to promote the collections of one of the Czech Republic’s finest regional museums. 

The event will focus on the Gallery’s masterpieces from a crucial period in the development of Czech art, after which the book will be formally ‘baptised’ and refreshments offered.
