Beschreibung

Young writers, artists, and thinkers from across the globe on what it means to be young, engaged, and unsilenced in 2026. From literature to activism, from digital spaces to the streets — each voice brings a distinct perspective on the world as they find it, and the world as they want it to be.

After the inputs, a networking moment closes the session, giving visitors the chance to meet the speakers directly before the evening continues at 8pm at 2og:dondorf in Bockenheim.

Participants:

  • Halima Abdulazeez, Chair of PEN Nigeria's Young Writers Committee
  • Jan Danzig, Czech artist
  • Ege Dündar (Co-Kurator und Moderator), author and youngest board member in history of PEN International
  • Carlos Egaña, Venezuelan poet, based in New York City
  • Karol Filo, theatre and video artist and performer born in Slovakia
  • Özge İnan, German journalist and novelist
  • Pema Wangmo, indigenous activist and participant of the „Gen Z People’s Movement Agreement“ in Nepal

Part of the Young Voices Network, a cross-institutional initiative connecting emerging voices in literature, publishing, and free expression worldwide.

In cooperation with Kulturfonds Frankfurt RheinMain and Deutsch-Tschechischer Zukunftsfonds.
