A tête-bêche volume with two front covers. The Poe side holds 11 tales — The Fall of the House of Usher, The Pit and the Pendulum, The Black Cat, The Raven, The Masque of the Red Death, Ligeia and more — each opening with a full-page plate, plus a full Poe biography. The Corman side holds an extensive essay on Roger Corman's seven Poe films (1960–1964), with technical sheets, reflections by artists and authors, and rich graphic material.
Poe is in the public domain in every language: a co-edition partner sets their own country's Poe translation — or the English originals — over the shared art plates, and translates only the essay.
